Cancellation Policy

At Guru Gobind Singh Driving School, we are committed to providing high quality driver education while maintaining fair scheduling and administrative practices for all students. Please review the following cancellation and payment policies carefully.

Registration & Payment

A non-refundable deposit is required upon registration for the Driver Education Course to secure a seat.
The remaining course balance must be paid before the start of classes.
Full payment is required upon registration for the Defensive Driving Course.
Private driving lessons may be prepaid to confirm scheduling.
Payment plans may be available in certain circumstances; however, all outstanding balances must be paid in full before any in-car lessons can begin.

Course Cancellations & Non-Attendance

Course cancellations, withdrawals, or non-attendance may result in a charge of up to 100% of the course fee.
Refunds will not be issued for missed classes, no-shows, or unused portions of a course once it has begun.
Students who withdraw before the course begins may receive a partial refund, minus the non-refundable deposit and any applicable administrative fees.
If a course is cancelled by Guru Gobind Singh Driving School, students will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another session.

Private Lesson Cancellations

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule a private driving lesson without penalty.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full lesson fee.
No-shows (failing to attend without prior notice) will be charged the full amount of the scheduled lesson and the session will be forfeited.
Instructors will wait a maximum of 15 minutes at the designated location before the lesson is considered a no-show.

Road Test Vehicle Rental

Cancellations for road test vehicle rental must be made at least 48 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled road test will result in a charge of the full rental fee.
Guru Gobind Singh Driving School is not responsible for road test cancellations or delays caused by DriveTest or other government agencies.

Instructor or School-Initiated Cancellations

In rare circumstances — such as extreme weather, instructor illness, or vehicle issues — we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
Students will be notified as soon as possible and their lesson will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
No penalty or fee will be charged to the student in the event of a school-initiated cancellation.

General Notes

All cancellation requests must be made by contacting our office directly by phone or email.
Guru Gobind Singh Driving School reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Students will be notified of any significant changes.
Continued enrollment or use of our services constitutes acceptance of the current cancellation and payment policy.
